"To be present at the end of a life is to witness the sacred—the closing of one chapter and the opening of another, beyond our understanding. It is an honour to hold space for those transitioning, offering peace, comfort, and love as they journey home."
What My Support Might Look Like For You.
No two lives are the same—and no two soul journeys will ever be. Every person’s transition is unique. I offer intuitive, heart-led support to honour the process, holding space for the person who is dying, their soul, and their loved ones during this sacred time.
While Reiki is the foundation of my offering, each session is guided by the moment—blending energy medicine and presence to support whatever is truly needed. This support may look different for everyone—below are just some of the ways it can unfold:
Reiki for the person who is dying – to bring calm, soothe discomfort, and offer spiritual support in the transition
Reiki for loved ones – to help regulate emotions, ease the nervous system, and support the experience of letting go
Creating a peaceful environment – supporting you in setting up a calming space through music, candles, scent, and personal items that bring comfort
Designing meaningful rituals – helping families create simple, private ceremonies or rituals to honour their loved one, say goodbye, or acknowledge important moments
Closing or Celebration of Life Ceremony – a sacred ritual created with the family to honour the life of the person who is dying and support their transition. This may be spiritual, symbolic, lighthearted, deeply reverent—or all of these things. I help co-create the experience with you and hold space on the day to ensure it flows smoothly, offering support and managing gentle logistics so you don’t have to
Gentle bedside companionship – offering the family time to rest or step away while I sit with your loved one, holding presence through:
Reading aloud
Brushing hair
Light hand or foot massage
Hand-holding
Simply sitting quietly together, allowing them to feel the comfort of someone near
Offering ideas and guidance – I can share gentle ways you can support your loved one with your own hands and heart: nurturing gestures, small rituals, or meditations to bring presence and peace into the room
Together, we will shape what this support looks like based on what you need, what your loved one responds to, and what feels right. There is no formula—only deep listening and soft, soul-led care.
Energetic End-of-Life Support
Holding sacred space for the soul’s final journey
“What if we treated death like birth?”
These words from death educator Jane Whitlock stir something deep within me.
What if we greeted the end of life with the same reverence, care, and presence we offer new life? What if we created space for the dying that was filled with love, sacred stillness, and soul-level support?
This is the heart of my work.
I believe death is not just a medical event—it’s a deeply meaningful and spiritual transition. As someone trained in both Reiki and energy medicine, I offer intuitive, heart-led support for those who are dying and the loved ones walking beside them.
My role is not to fix or save. It’s to witness, to hold, and to walk gently with you through one of life’s most sacred thresholds. Whether I am offering Reiki, creating a ceremony, or simply sitting quietly by the bedside, the intention is always the same: to bring peace, presence, and support to this powerful moment of letting go.
Energy Medicine for the Dying
I believe dying is not a medical experience, but a sacred and meaningful part of our human journey. With the right preparation, energetic support, and open-hearted communication, I believe death can—like birth—be a deeply beautiful, natural transition. As an End-of-Life Reiki Doula, I bring spiritual, emotional, and energetic support to those nearing the end of life, as well as to their families.
While utilizing Reiki, I am able to assist others in finding peace and understanding on a soul level. My role is to nurture the spirit and create an energetic bridge between worlds.
My Story
My path into end-of-life work unfolded naturally through my Reiki practice, and deepened profoundly as I supported my mum in her final days. She was entering the active dying phase with dementia, confused and afraid. I connected with her remotely through Reiki, speaking to her on a soul level. As I offered energy, I could feel her soften—her fear easing into calm, her body relaxing, her spirit beginning to understand and accept what was happening.
We stayed tethered even as she became non-verbal, and I continued to offer comfort—physically, emotionally, energetically—until the moment she passed, holding one of her hands as my father held the other.
Witnessing the sacredness of that transition, and the peace energy medicine brought to all of us, lit something in me. I wasn’t just holding space for my mum—I was holding space for the whole family, for the process itself. It was intuitive, soul-led. From that moment, I knew this was my path. Becoming an End-of-Life Doula was simply a way to honour what I was already doing—to support others in navigating death with reverence, presence, and deep energetic care.
What Energy Medicine Offers at End of Life
Energy medicine is a subtle, non-invasive form of healing that supports the body in self-healing and creates a deep state of relaxation. When we relax, we are more open to release, to let go, and to surrender. At end of life, this can mean moving from fear into peace, from pain into comfort, from holding on to letting go.
The human energy system holds our life stories—our joys, our grief, our identities, and our soul’s lessons. When the physical body is supported and comfortable, the energy body often needs just as much care. Unresolved trauma, emotional tension, or energetic congestion can create difficulty in transitioning.
Through Reiki and intuitive energy work, I gently support the clearing, grounding, or uplifting of the energy system. Each session is unique. Sometimes it’s stillness and holding a hand. Sometimes it’s the placement of my hands on the heart and crown to help the soul rise and prepare. Often, it’s quiet presence, breath, and light woven together in the unseen.
I witnessed this sacred moment with my own mother. Sitting beside her, I placed my hands gently over her heart chakra and crown chakra. I spoke softly, surrounded her in light, and felt the shift as she crossed over with peace. That moment affirmed everything I know to be true about energy, spirit, and the power of presence.
The Layers I Work With
Meridians – energy pathways that support organ function and emotional flow
Chakras – energy centres that hold physical, emotional and spiritual information
Biofield / Aura – your outer energy body that offers insight, protection and flow
Hara Line – the deep line of soul purpose and intention, anchoring life path and release
Core Star – your inner divine light and soul essence, often brightening as death nears
When I’m holding this space, I don’t see someone who is sick or broken—I see a person in their wholeness, preparing to cross into a new chapter. To me, they are a traveller—very much alive—making their way toward another realm. My role is to support that transition with reverence, light, and love.
